Concord, NH North Branch Construction has donated the proceeds from the firm’s annual safety fine program to two deserving non-profit organizations – Community Bridges in Concord, and Lakes Region Community Developers in Laconia, N.H. In 2022, the safety fine program proceeds totaled nearly $4,000, resulting in a $2,000 donation to each organization. 

East Boston, MA Tishman Speyer has acquired The Eddy, a recently-constructed, high-rise apartment tower located on the waterfront, from Green Cities Company for $135 million.  Built in 2016, The Eddy features 259 market-rate rental apartments that include a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom floor plans.

Mansfield, MA JLL Capital Markets has closed the sale-leaseback of 550 Forbes, a single-tenant warehouse totaling 215,575 s/f. JLL represented the seller, FCA US (Stellantis), in the sale, and Berkeley Partners acquired the asset.

Worcester, MA NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs facilitated the $3.625 million sale of 70 Goldstar Blvd., the site of a former Volvo dealership, on January 31, 2023. NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs principal Michael Jacobs represented the seller, Gallo Realty Co., Inc. Andrew Bonica of Eastern Retail represented the buyer, Parkingway Management LLC of Jamaica Plain, Mass.

Ashland, MA Bret O’Brien and James Keefe of Greater Boston Commercial Properties, Inc. completed two sales totaling $1.9 million.  In the first transaction, the O’Brien/Keefe team represented the seller and procured the buyer in the sale of 1.7 acres on the corner of Megunko Rd. and Cherry St.

Boston, MA Redgate has expanded its senior leadership team with the hiring of Laura Gregoriadis, who will serve as the company’s first chief financial officer, Sharon Lavery, Redgate’s first senior director of human resources and culture, and Brian Mueller, who joins the company as vice president of asset management.

Wayland, MA R.W. Holmes, one of the largest commercial brokerage firms serving tenants and landlords in Massachusetts for more than 45 years, released its fourth quarter market report and forecast for 2023, reporting a shift towards tenants in the office market for the first time in five years, continued activity in the industrial sector, and an expectation that investment sales will pick up by Q3 2023.

Gloucester, MA City Kids, a youth education nonprofit created by City Realty Group, donated 20 Chromebooks to Action Inc., a local nonprofit and community action agency. For more than 50 years, Action Inc. has been a champion for the people and communities of Cape Ann.

Boston, MA To spread holiday cheer, members of The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 103 donated thousands of new toys and articles of winter clothing to children and families in Boston and Lawrence.  The Holiday Toy Drive is an annual tradition at IBEW Local 103 to give back to the communities where their members live and work.
