Women should consider firms that recognize diverse goals and choices by providing equal opportunities and supportive relationships in an empowering environment while allowing space for personal fulfillment. What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? I am proud of the challenges we overcame and all we learned from navigating our business through the pandemic. There were many changes to managing a business during that time, followed by more recent changes in the banking world, making project financings more difficult.

Find a firm that shares your values as well as one that offers exposure to all aspects of a construction project: procurement, engineering, site supervision, quality control, and financial management. These skills empower managers to see the whole picture when making decisions and solving problems.

What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? I recently became a PHIUS Certified Builder (CPHB). This opportunity has expanded my technical skillset and knowledge, allowing me to learn from industry leaders. What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? I am finishing up a multifamily project in Boston called 5 Washington, a 108-unit residential mixed-use project with amenities, and it was the first time I did not work on a project from the very start. It was challenging to come in at the eleventh hour but I am proud of being able to jump right in and to be there for support as we wrapped up our work.

What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? During the COVID-19 commercial leasing slump, my team and I defied trends by strategically growing our portfolio, acquiring contracts for several notable commercial tenants. Our proactive tenant retention strategy cultivated a welcoming and collaborative environment, resulting in a 95% retention rate over the past year.

What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? The project I am most proud of is an inpatient surgery expansion at Heywood Hospital in Gardner, Mass. This project was my first real introduction to healthcare work, and it challenged me to think outside the box when it came time to design the systems.

What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? I’m particularly proud of the progress we’ve made at 245 5th Ave. – a 245,000 s/f ground-up lab building. Each milestone achieved there represents the dedication and hard work we’ve put into the project.
