What recent professional milestone or project are you most proud of, and why? I was recently proud to represent Rockland Trust by providing financing for a poultry wholesale company in MA, which included an industrial building acquisition. They had been working with other banks while searching for industrial buildings, but they did not close as their needs weren’t met in a timely manner.

What recent professional milestone or project are you most proud of, and why? My proudest accomplishment has been passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. After college, I didn’t immediately pursue a path to professional licensure. It was four years after I graduated that I decided I wanted to advance myself as a civil engineer.

What recent professional milestone or project are you most proud of, and why? Becoming an associate at Hancock Associates is the professional milestone that I’m most proud of as it reflects years of dedication, commitment and continuous personal growth.

What recent professional milestone or project are you most proud of, and why? I’m most proud of my recent promotion to Associate at Bruner/Cott Architects. This recognition reflects the contributions I’ve made to the firm over the last eight years and marks a meaningful step into a leadership role I am excited to take on.

What’s one challenge you’ve overcome in your career so far, and what did it teach you? A major challenge I faced was a complex renovation and new construction project with multiple stakeholders and unclear goals. Aging infrastructure and inaccurate existing drawings added difficulty. To align the team, we held a stakeholder workshop that fostered communication and set a shared direction.

What recent professional milestone or project are you most proud of, and why? I recently completed two residential projects for Harvard University Housing (HUH) which were both Passive House certified, the first projects with that certification for HUH. Both were 19th century Victorian renovations which were accompanied by a host of challenges as the project team

What’s one challenge you’ve overcome in your career so far, and what did it teach you? One of the biggest challenges early on was managing my time across multiple reports, especially when unexpected client requests popped up. It took a while, but I learned how to prioritize better, set clearer boundaries, and build in more structure to stay ahead.

What’s one challenge you’ve overcome in your career so far, and what did it teach you? One of my biggest career challenges has been managing multiple projects at different stages while leading and mentoring others. I learned that technical skills alone aren’t enough – success means delegating, building trust, and adapting to each team member’s needs.

What recent professional milestone or project are you most proud of, and why? We are currently installing a RFID system in our warehouse. I have been heavily involved in implementing the system. I have come up with new ideas of placement and strategies regarding the RFID tagging because the tags are somewhat unique to the equipment we use.

If you could give advice to someone just starting out in your field, what would it be? Don’t be afraid to ask questions or seek help! When I was hired at Tecta, I attended weekly production meetings and felt overwhelmed by how much there was to learn.

What recent professional milestone or project are you most proud of, and why? I recently helped a client lease their 25,000 s/f warehouse in Sanford, Maine. They had operated a family business there for 20 years, retreading tires. I negotiated a deal with a tenant that far exceeded expectations. The new tenant runs power restoration projects across Maine and was delighted with the space.

What’s one challenge you’ve overcome in your career so far, and what did it teach you? The biggest challenge any young broker must overcome is the fear of failing. In my time as a broker since graduating from college in 2020, the Greater Boston market has experienced its challenges. Hi- rise downtown towers and suburban office parks were no longer the epicenter where people went daily to work.
