Waldman of Waldman and Associates and Miranda of KW Commercial broker $3.1 million sale of Eastway Plaza - sold by Black Creek

Brockton, MA On December 28th, Eastway Plaza was sold by Black Creek to a local investor.

The buyer has substantial holdings in Eastern Mass. including in the local area. The buyer felt strongly that they could give the plaza the attention it deserves. Currently the plaza has four vacancies. The plaza is anchored by Grossman’s Bargain Outlet and has several long term tenants.

Dan Waldman,
Waldman and Associates

Cesar Miranda,
KW Commercial

Dan Waldman of Waldman and Associates represented the Black Creek and Cesar Miranda of KW Commercial Division of Keller Williams Realty represented the buyer. The plaza was not for sale at the time and although several unsolicited offers were presented to the seller, none of which met the seller’s requirement.

Timing is everything and it was only a chance meeting at a Boston event that the momentum picked up between the buyer and seller where Waldman and Miranda arranged a meeting. The buyer shared his vision for the plaza and presented his credentials including real estate holdings, the seller realize this would be a win- win negotiation and a fast timeline towards a sale. The plaza sold for $3.1 million.

“It was a very enjoyable experience working with Cesar, seller and buyer. All parties were extremely professional,” said Waldman.

Miranda echoes the sentiments, and said, “It was a pleasure working with Dan and the seller. The deal was scheduled to close in the January 2019 and all parties worked expeditiously to get the deal closed ahead of schedule; Teamwork makes the dream work!”

Waldman and Miranda are excited to fill the vacancies and bring new business to the plaza and with several pending LOl’s they are confident they will fill the plaza.
