Wilder leases 16,465 s/f to UK’s Oak Furnitureland at Wayside

Burlington, MA According to Wilder, the national retail real estate development, management and leasing firm, Oak Furnitureland, the UK’s largest retailer of solid hardwood furniture, has opened its first U.S. store at Wayside.

In choosing a location for its first U.S. retail store, Oak Furnitureland leaders selected Greater Boston, in part, due to the demonstrated popularity of the brand online in Mass.

“Our customers overwhelmingly chose Burlington, MA for the first U.S. store and Wayside is the perfect fit for our brand,” said Alex Fisher, chief executive officer at Oak Furnitureland. “With its easy accessibility and high quality of service it was an easy choice.”

Covering 16,465 s/f, the store features a layout marked by cohesive room-sets.

“Oak Furnitureland started in the UK in 2006 and began offering online furniture sales to the U.S. market in 2016 so this is a positive next step in their strategic expansion,” said Deb Di Meo, vice president, leasing at Wilder
