Integrated Bldrs. to build lab space for Valeritas

Shrewsbury, MA Integrated Builders has been awarded a contract to build a lab for Valeritas at 800 Boston Tpke. The lab will include 2,000 s/f of space and will house a modular clean-room.

Last year, Integrated Builders completed a 20,679 s/f tenant fit-up for Valeritas at the same facility. Integrated was hired by the landlord, Vinco Properties, for the tenant fit-up job as well as for the repositioning of the 50,000 s/f building.

The interior fit-up last year consisted of building a modular Class 10,000 Clean-room, a 200 s/f Class 100 Clean-room, a lab space, office and R&D, and a cafeteria. The exterior improvements included significant alterations to the existing façade and a new entrance to the building, landscaping and stone walls.
