Billerica, MA  JM Coull (JMC), recently completed renovations for Quanterix’s new headquarters on Middlesex Tpke. The two-story, 90,000 s/f facility combines operations from the company’s previous Lexington and Billerica sites, and includes labs, expanded manufacturing areas, offices, a café, and a fitness facility. The new building provides the necessary space to accommodate Quanterix’s continued growth as a leader in biomarker technology. JMC worked with Gorman Richardson Lewis Architects and Fitzemeyer & Tocci Associates on the project. The project’s preconstruction phase was completed under JMC’s two-part StartSmart® Preconstruction Program.

Quanterix develops and markets revolutionary digital biomarker analysis devices used by researchers to closely examine critical biomarkers in numerous therapeutic areas, such as oncology, neurology, cardiology, inflammation, and infectious diseases. The company counts biopharma firms such as Pfizer, Merck, Shire, Sanofi, and Biogen among its customers.

Heather Waice, JMC’s project manager, said, “Quanterix does amazing work that ultimately helps patients with serious and life-threatening diseases. To play a small role in that, by providing Quanterix with an efficient space in which to do this work, is very gratifying.”
