Lila Delman Real Estate leads state with top sales in 2018 for 10th consecutive year

Narragansett, RI With $480,503,858 in total sales volume, Lila Delman Real Estate continued to lead the state with top sales in 2018, maintaining the highest market share and sold dollar volume for $1 million+ properties statewide. 2018 proudly marked Lila Delman’s 10th consecutive year as the statewide leader of sales over $1 million.

Lila Delman’s success in 2018 is further exemplified by their participation in highest sales in Narragansett, Jamestown, Middletown, Tiverton, Block Island, Lincoln, North Smithfield, Glocester and Scituate.

Additionally, Lila Delman participated in the highest land sale statewide with the sale of 83 Cliff Dr. in Narragansett for $3.9 million. Stella Fitzsimmons, sales associate, represented the seller while Ruth Bellino, Narragansett sales manager, represented the buyer.

Lila Delman also participated in the highest multi-family home sale statewide with the sale of 25 Old Beach Rd. in Newport for $3.535 million. Kendra Toppa, Newport sales manager, and the late Melanie Delman represented the seller.

Lila Delman’s most notable sale in 2018 was 45 Thule Cove Rd. in Narragansett, which traded for $8.2 million. This transaction marked the highest sale in Narragansett history and the second highest sale statewide in 2018 according to data maintained by the Rhode Island Statewide MLS. Janet Kermes, Lila Delman sales associate, represented the buyer.

In Jamestown, Lila Delman’s dominance was evident from their participation in the top six sales in the municipality, the top four of which also represent the top four sales across all categories. 5 Court St., Jamestown’s highest sale in 2018, sold for $4.2 million. 

The late Melanie Delman and Cynthia Moretti, broker associate, represented the seller. Melanie Delman also facilitated for the buyer.

Bob Bailey, Jamestown sales manager, had a record year representing the sellers in both the second highest sale, 30 Bay View Dr., which sold for $3.75 million, and the third highest sale, 96 Highland Dr., which sold for $3.747 million.

Continuing along the coast, Lila Delman had great success in Newport County, participating in the highest sales in both Middletown and Tiverton. 393 Indian Ave. in Middletown sold for $4.1 million. The late Melanie Delman represented the buyer. “Tramonto Del Sole”, 137 High Hill Rd., in Tiverton sold for $2.265 million marking the highest sale in the municipality since February 2015. Alyce Wright, sales associate, and Susan Gustavson, broker associate, represented the seller.

On Block Island, Lila Delman continued its record of the highest sale on island for the third year running. 1538 Center Rd. sold for $3.492 million. Rosemary Tobin, Block Island sales manager, represented the seller. Additionally, Rosemary Tobin was recognized as the top-producing agent on Block Island based on 2018 sales volume. 

In the Northern end of the state, Lila Delman continued to make strong inroads as the Providence office grew 39% in sales volume year-over-year. Additionally, Lila Delman associates participated in the highest sales in Lincoln, North Smithfield, Glocester and Scituate. 8 Alyssa Ln. in Lincoln sold for $1.299 million with Greg Datseris, sales associate, representing the seller. 543 Woonsocket Hill Rd. in North Smithfield sold for $1.035 million with Christine Dupuis, Providence sales manager, representing the seller and Jacob Rochefort, Providence sales manager, representing the buyer.

In Glocester, 231 Chopmist Hill Rd. sold for $800,000. Christine Dupuis, Providence Sales Manager, and Bob Bailey, Jamestown Sales Manager, represented the seller. Christine Dupuis also facilitated for the buyer. In Scituate, 400 Old Plainfield Pike sold for $670,000. Gladys Barbosa, Sales Associate, represented the seller.
