Adams joins Grand Coast Capital Group as managing director

Boston, MA David Adams has joined Grand Coast Capital Group as managing director. In this new role, Adams is responsible for leading the firm’s business development, investor relations and sourcing of co-investment opportunities.

“David’s broad-based experience with institutional funding and alternative investments perfectly complements his role with Grand Coast Capital,” said Jeff Carter, CEO and founder of Grand Coast Capital Group. “His work in a variety of market spaces will translate seamlessly into Grand Coast Capital’s investment portfolio, and we look forward to his added contributions.”

Adams will be focused on sourcing new capital partners and strategically pairing them with opportunities existing within Grand Coast’s managed funds and co-investment opportunities.

Prior to his role at Grand Coast Capital, Adams was the chief operating officer at Fullerton Investors, LLC, a Chicago-based family office where he oversaw direct investing in public markets, private investments and real estate. Adams also worked on family owned operating companies with an emphasis on strategy, corporate finance and growth. Previously, Adams co-founded Recurve Partners, LLC, an investment management and due diligence software company. Prior to Recurve, Adams worked as the director of hedge funds at HFR Asset Management, where he oversaw management and hedge fund due diligence for a multibillion dollar platform.

Adams received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Vanderbilt University in 2003. He currently maintains the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst and is a member of the CFA Society of Chicago.
