Albanese of Commodore Builders elected chairman of New England Center and Home for Veterans board of directors

Boston, MA According to The New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV), Joseph Albanese, founder and CEO of Commodore Builders, has been elected chairman of the NECHV board of directors.

Albanese had served as vice chair of the NECHV board since 2014. He was a board member from 1995 until 2005, and rejoined the board in 2006. Albanese also serves on the advisory board of the Francis College of Engineering at UMass Lowell and is the immediate past chair of the Associated General Contractors of Massachusetts. He is a director of the USS Constitution Museum, the Naval Civil Engineer Corps/Seabee Historical Foundation, and The Village Bank.

Albanese holds a bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering from UMass Lowell and an MBA from Boston University. He retired from the U.S. Navy in 2009 as a captain in the Civil Engineer Corps, following 28 years of service.
