Colebrook Realty Services completes sale of Faces, Northhampton

Colebrook Realty Services, Inc. completed the sale of Faces, downtown Northampton's landmark retail store to Chris Andrew, Inc., an entity controlled by Camile and Tiffany Hannoush and Chris and Amy Pariseau. Co-founded by Steve Vogel in Amherst in 1971, the Northampton location opened in 1986 and has been owned and operated by Peter Vogel since Steve retired in 2009. Mitch Bolotin, vice president and partner, and Jack Dill, president and partner of Colebrook represented Peter Vogel in the sale of Faces and represented Steve Vogel in the new lease agreement with Chris Andrew, Inc. "We're so excited to be part of Faces and what Steve and Peter have created" said Camile Hannoush. Rumored to be closing for several weeks, numerous loyal customers went public expressing their disappointment with the potential closing of Faces. Peter Vogel said, "we're open, we've always been open and Faces will remain open." Following the announcement in January, there was strong interest in purchasing Faces. "Local, regional and national groups expressed interest" said Bolotin. "After reviewing several offers, we believed Tiffany and Camile were best suited to take Faces forward." Dill said, "having helped Steve Vogel bring Faces to Northampton in 1986 and having redeveloped and managed the property since then, we were so pleased to help Peter Vogel see Faces into its next life under the capable stewardship of the Hanoush's" When asked about plans for Faces going forward, Camile Hannoush said, "We plan on keeping Faces 'as-is.' We plan on reopening the downstairs level soon but want to keep Faces just as the customers have supported the store for over forty years in the valley. It's an amazing store and such an important part of Northampton."
