Connecticut legislation effective October 1st
Almost 100 new CT statutes took effect on October 1. Most of the laws were approved this past legislative session.
Statutes affecting the construction industry include; Public Act (PA) 12-99 crane definition and licensing, budget and bond for infrastructure projects, PA 12-18 mechanical contractor registration, PA 12-77 the state's second injury fund, PA 12-101 erosion control in shoreline communities, PA 12-151 regulated activities by local inland wetland commissions, and PA 12-47 zoning enforcement.
