Cranshaw Const. appoints Fenton as CEO

Newton, MA Cranshaw Construction has appointed David Fenton as chief executive officer. A seasoned industry leader with a track record of delivering high-impact projects, Fenton will oversee the firm’s strategic direction, accelerate long-term growth, and elevate Cranshaw’s presence across the region and industry.

Fenton joins Cranshaw after more than 20 years at Suffolk Construction, where he rose through the ranks from project manager to chief operations officer, first leading Northeast commercial operations and later serving as national government chief operations executive. He has led some of Boston’s most visible and complex projects, including 10 World Trade and South Station Tower, and most recently spearheaded Suffolk’s national re-entry into federal government work. At Cranshaw, he will apply his proven track record in driving revenue, leading operational excellence, and cultivating client relationships to advance the firm’s next phase of growth.

Cranshaw Construction is a general contracting and construction management firm with experience delivering complex projects across New England, including multi-family residences, assisted living communities, industrial facilities, lifestyle centers, and lab and office space. Cranshaw manages projects from early concept through final occupancy with practical, cost-effective solutions that enhance the tenant experience, as well as long-term value and marketability.
