CTA Construction and town of Carver break ground on new $37 million elementary school

Carver, MA The town of Carver and CTA Construction celebrated the ground breaking of the new Carver Elementary School project during a ceremony on October 14.

The new school is being constructed adjacent to the existing school buildings which will remain fully operational for the duration of the two-year $37 million project.

“This ceremony marks the beginning of a bright future for the Town of Carver and its new school project,” said Matthew Kaye, project manager at CT. “CTA is pleased to work jointly with our partners in Carver including HMFH Architects and PMA Consultants to build a state-of-the-art school that will serve students, faculty and families in the community for decades to come.”

In addition to the construction, two new wells will be brought online and connected to the two existing school buildings, along with a new water treatment system. The new building will be energy efficient and Northeast CHPS verified.

Building completion is scheduled for the summer of 2018 with final site improvements, including the playing fields and play areas, in late fall 2018.
