Cushman & Wakefield promoted Swartz to vice chair senior housing

Boston, MA According to Cushman & Wakefield, Rick Swartz has been promoted to vice chair of the firm’s senior housing capital markets group.

“Rick has shown true dedication to this company through his 15 years of excellent service to clients. He deserves to be recognized as he continues to be a leader in this industry.” said Carolyn Sidor, managing principal of Cushman & Wakefield’s New England offices.

“I’m excited for the opportunities this new role presents and grateful my work has been recognized by an industry leader like Cushman & Wakefield,” said Swartz. “We’ve built a strong national team in senior housing and I look forward to continued success.”

Swartz joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2003 as a managing director and principal responsible for originating, structuring and placing debt and equity investments nationally. In 2007 he opened the firm’s Boston office where he continues to serve the firm’s clients nationally. In 2011 Swartz initiated the firm’s senior housing capital markets group.

Swartz received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Cornell University, and his master’s from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the United Land Institute and the American Senior Housing Association. Mr. Swartz holds Series 7 and Series 63 licenses with FINRA.
