Doorley-Lucas of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s sells 1040 Buttonwoods Ave. for $2.7625 million

Warwick, RI Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty negotiated the sale of 1040 Buttonwoods Ave. for $2.7625 million. The sellers were represented by Amy Doorley-Lucas, sales associate of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s. Doorley-Lucas also facilitated the sale on behalf of the buyers.

Set on the former site of the Buttonwoods Hotel, this waterfront home blends modern luxury with the historic charm of Old Buttonwoods, where residents enjoy a chapel, casino/social hall, and duckpin bowling. The home itself offers high-end amenities and views with direct water access with a pool and patio overlooking the neighborhood.

“Old Buttonwoods is a treasured year-round haven for all ages – a community with built in neighborhood amenities of yesteryear,” said Doorley-Lucas.

According to data from the Multiple Listing Service, this is the highest residential sale in Warwick since August of 2024, and the highest on record in the Old Buttonwoods neighborhood in the town.
