Polakiewicz of Hancock Associates earns professional engineer license
Danvers, MA According to Hancock Associates, a leading provider of land surveying, civil engineering and wetland science services, Jay Polakiewicz has passed the professional engineering exam and is now a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Massachusetts. Polakiewicz joined Hancock Associates in 2017 through Hancock’s internship program as an instrument operator. He was promoted to project manager in 2023.
“Jay has been an integral part of multiple high profile development projects over the years. He has an extremely high level of technical ability and understanding of nuances of town workings, regulations and key players. Earning his PE license further solidifies his success in the field and at Hancock Associates,” said Hancock Associates vice president of engineering, Joseph Peznola, PE. “We’re very proud of all of his achievements.”
Polakiewicz has a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Syracuse University and is a certified soil evaluator.
