R.W. Holmes Realty Co., Inc. completed the sale of 2 Cabot Rd. to Cabot Woods LLC, a subsidiary of K & L Realty LLC of Worcester. R.W. Holmes represented K & L in the $3.875 million purchase.
Located next to the intersections of I-290, I-495, Rtes. 85 and 20, 2 Cabot is a first-class, red brick office-R&D building with tinted ribbon windows and an atrium lobby. With two stories and 147,000 s/f on an 18.4 acre landscaped wooded campus, it has ample parking and numerous area amenities.
K & L Realty plans extensive upgrades including a redesigned lobby and new HVAC system. The office park is also re-branded with the name of "Cabot Woods." George Tonna, president, said, "Cabot Woods is an ideal setting with enormous value to tenants. It offers very affordable class A office and R & D space, plus employees can either do a nature walk or stroll to the nearby drugstores, supermarkets, or restaurants."
VMY Vitols Architects of Needham is overseeing the renovations.
Garry Holmes, SIOR of R.W. Holmes Realty Co., Inc. represented the K & L Realty while Jim Thompson and Doug Jacoby of Newmark Knight Frank represented the seller, NB MS Cabot LLC.
The team of Holmes, Bill Sullivan, and Craig Johnston of R.W. Holmes Realty were named as the exclusive marketing agent to lease the remaining space.
