Lessard Environmental and Achieve Renewable Energy, with branch offices in R.I. and N.J., have relocated their corporate offices from Danvers to 3,500 s/f at Cummings Center. Founded in 1998 by Lawrence Lessard, PG, LSP, LEP, Lessard Environmental provides a broad array of engineering, consulting, site assessment and remediation services to commercial, public and private clients. The company also offers air quality monitoring, groundwater sampling, soil analysis and geophysical surveying and has reportedly developed a patented process for the cleanup of hydrocarbon impacted soils and groundwater.
Lessard is also founder of Achieve Renewable Energy, which proposes clean energy solutions for commercial, industrial and residential applications. The company designs, installs and maintains geothermal heating/cooling, solar photovoltaic and solar hot water systems. In partnership with a wind turbine manufacturer, Achieve also determines the ideal placement of turbines to harness this renewable energy source and offset electrical use.
On his decision to relocate to Cummings Center, Lessard pointed to the vast business opportunities and the appeal of the office/research park. "We were attracted to Cummings Center's vibrant atmosphere, easy highway access, numerous amenities and proximity to both our clients and homes. The list of existing tenants is truly impressive and we expect great synergy with our new neighbors," said Lessard. "This move makes business sense and we are looking forward to the convenience of our new offices."
Lessard and Achieve join a growing number of "green" companies choosing to locate their businesses at Cummings Center, the home of one of the city's first Energy Star buildings.
