Newmark Knight Frank represents KS Partners in 20,810 s/f lease

KS Partners, LLC, one of greater Boston's most active real estate owner/operators, has leased 20,810 s/f of office space to World Travel Holdings, Inc. at 100 Fordham Rd. in its Fordham Rd. Office Park. Chris Curley of Newmark Knight Frank represented KS Partners in the transaction, with Mitchell Jacoby, of CresaPartners, representing the tenant. Curley noted that, "KS Partners working directly with World Travel's executives and Jacoby, really made the deal happen". World Travel Holdings, Inc. has quickly established it self as one of the countries largest travel distributers. It owns national brands such as Vacation Outlet, Cruises Only and CruiseOne; as well as having strategic alliances with companies such as BJ Wholesale, Priceline.com, American Airlines, JetBlue, Marriott, Hotwire and Orbitz. Brad Tolkin, CEO of World Travel Holdings, was "thrilled" at the prospect of moving to KS Partners' office park. Adding that, "this would be a substantial upgrade from our current location, and it offers most all World Travel Holdings staff a shortened commute given the proximity to Rt. 93." Jacoby added that favorable economics and the ability for World Travel Holdings to take the entire second floor with an attractive window line for their operation were keys to the success of this transaction. Matt Joyce, asset manager for KS Partners said, "being able to complete a transaction of this size with such a strong and growing tenant is significant in this market." With construction set to be complete by November 1st, the tenant will occupy the entire second floor of building C bringing the occupancy of the 301,860 s/f office park to 100%. The site will serve as the company's new corporate offices.
