What trends or innovations do you believe will shape the future of your field, and how are you positioning yourself (or your firm) to be at the forefront? The growth of life sciences and advanced manufacturing is reshaping the AEC industry, emphasizing sustainability, adaptability, and efficiency.
What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? I am super proud of the Plainville PumpkinFest, an annual event that I, and a group of friends began (on a whim) a decade ago.
What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? I am most proud of the housing projects that rethink what affordable housing should be by putting an emphasis on creating buildings that don’t look like traditional low-income housing.
What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? Sandy Hook School, Newtown. Our team leaned heavily into Biophilic design to uplift, inspire, and engage the students and community, while discretely incorporating security measures.
What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? My new role as purchasing coordinator was challenging as it was a completely new role created within the company.
What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? The project I’m incredibly proud of is organizing a fund raiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation with my family.

What trends or innovations do you believe will shape the future of your field, and how are you positioning yourself (or your firm) to be at the forefront? As we’re seeing across many industries, I believe AI will play an increasingly significant role in the construction sector, both in the office and in the field.
Who or what has inspired you most in your career, and what advice would you share with the next generation of women entering the A/E/C industry? Over the years, I’ve been inspired by many women in my career. I started out in college pursuing engineering and architecture, but I ended up in construction risk management by chance.
What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? In fall 2023, I worked on a Wetland Functional Assessment Report for a large residential development project in Bedford, under a tight deadline.
