Margulies Perruzzi completes United Way’s new headquarters

Boston, MA Margulies Perruzzi (MP), one of New England’s most innovative architectural and interior design firms, has completed a new 9,595 s/f headquarters in the Seaport District for the United Way of Massachusetts Bay. The updated space is designed to allow for flexibility to maximize the usability of the space available. The suite at 9 Channel Center utilized movable walls between all conference rooms, allowing for reconfiguration depending on need, maximizing square footage.

Miller Dyer Spears to complete work on new Braintree Middle School

Braintree, MA Miller Dyer Spears (MDS) is currently working with the town to create a new middle school for 800 students in grades 5–8, replacing the existing South Middle School. The project is part of Braintree Public Schools’ plan to relieve overcrowding in the town’s elementary schools by integrating fifth grade into the middle schools. 

Hilco Redevelopment Partners names Schrock to new role as senior vice president – mixed-use dev.

Boston, MA Hilco Redevelopment Partners (HRP), the real estate development unit of Hilco Global, has appointed Melissa Schrock to the newly-created position of senior vice president – mixed-use development. Schrock joins HRP’s executive team to lead the firm’s expansion into the urban mixed-use development space. In this important role, she will have responsibility for the management of several exciting projects currently underway, including L Street Station in Boston, and Campus Bay in San Francisco, among other significant projects throughout the country.

Timberline Construction completes 25,252 s/f fit-out at Tatte Commissary

South Boston, MA According to Timberline Construction, they have completed the 25,252 s/f commissary fit-out of the new Tatte Boston Commissary located at 60 Old Colony Ave. Working with Tatte and Answers Inc., Timberline successfully coordinated a complete fit-out of this industrial warehouse building to create new baking facilities and a small café.
