What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? Most proud of seven new bio-tech headquarter build-outs in a new lab space in Boston. Two of the clients are current clients of mine but was referred by my peers to the five others!
What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? Having only recently started at Dakota I can’t take much credit for the projects and transactions that I jumped into in the middle of the process.
What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? I was the buyer’s agent for the purchase of commercial property next to my restaurant at 525 Medford St., Somerville. It is a three-story building, and presently the first floor is commercial
What led you to your current profession? I’ve been in energy efficiency for over 15 years. Using my mechanical engineering background to help reduce building energy use, cost, and emissions has been very rewarding.
What does it take to succeed in your specific industry? We’re doing a lot of construction here and currently have about $150 million in capital projects in the queue or underway. Given this, effective communication is key, as is being a team player and being attuned
What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? The recent project I am most proud of is the renovation of a six-story building located at 10 Winthrop Sq. in Boston. Our client, Chevron Partners, provided clear direction to blend the “old” with the “new”
What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? I think the accomplishment I am most proud of so far is the record year Kay Properties recorded in 2021. The firm posted $610 million of equity from accredited investors which represented a 49.5% increase
What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? A recent transaction that makes me most proud is our investment into the downtown area of the city of Brockton. We funded the city’s first market-rate construction project which includes a 44 luxury-unit apartment building located at 47 West Elm St.
What does it take to succeed in your specific industry? Resiliency. It is a concept that is central to all landscape design work because it is the essential strategy for dealing with climate change and creating successful places that stand the test of time.
