What does it take to succeed in your specific industry? In one word, “thinking.” In geotechnical engineering we deal with site conditions that vary regionally to variable across a site.
What does it take to succeed in your specific industry? As an architect, you need passion, thick skin, and strong communication skills. A true love of design is critical to succeeding, and surviving, in this industry.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? Successfully winning a Gold Prism Award for “Best Mixed-Use Community” for the successful redevelopment, build out, and sell out of a transit-oriented mixed-use project called The Postmark
What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? Establishing the in-house architecture department of Jewett Construction has been the most challenging and gratifying undertaking of my career.
What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? The renovation of a convent building into what will be a state-of-the-art STEAM Education Center is a project that has come together after years of searching, planning, and focused, goal-oriented saving.
What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? For the past six years I have been working on the 196,000 s/f Bristol County Agricultural High School project in Dighton, Mass.
What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? The accomplishment I’m really proud of is that in this last year we hired 14 people, which is a great sign of growth.
What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? While I am proud of all properties we have acquired, The Lynn Portfolio, a 56-unit mixed-use portfolio in Lynn, particularly stands out to me.
