Boston, MA Kathleen Guinee, principal of Aetna Fire Alarm Service Co., Inc. was elected Chair of the Mass. Board of State Examiners of Electricians (BSEE). She is the first woman to serve the Commonwealth in this position.
Guinee was originally appointed to the BSEE by governor Deval Patrick in August 2008 as the systems contractor designee. Each board member serves three-year appointments, and Guinee has been reappointed four times. She served as vice chair of the BSEE for three years prior to her new position as chair.

Boston, MA The Davis Companies has hired Rickie Golden as vice president of development. In this position, Golden will focus on permitting efforts for several Boston development projects.
Golden, who has over 10 years of experience in pre-development work, permitting, zoning and development, had previously been the president of JECSP, a spin-off company of Corcoran Jennison Cos., where she created/sourced three potential off-market, complex, large-scale projects in Boston, totaling $3 billion and 230 acres. Prior to Corcoran, Golden worked for Continental Ventures Realty in New York and for The Museum of Modern Art in New York.

We are in the midst of a five-year strategic plan that includes three primary goals: Workforce development, membership development and legislative effectiveness. And I’m happy to say that we have made significant progress on each of them.
