Norwood, MA CBRE has completed the sale of a 16-property, 2,155-key hotel portfolio located across nine states. A joint venture between Dallas-based Newcrest-Image and Phoenix-based Hospitality Capital Partners (HCP) acquired the portfolio for $137.3 million.

Brookline, MA Continuing its commitment to expand local housing options, Chestnut Hill Realty has opened a 127-unit apartment building in the Hancock Village apartment home community in Brookline with a ribbon-cutting held on March 31.

Canton, MA Standard Communities has acquired Canton Estates Apartments, a naturally-occurring affordable housing family community. The total capitalization of the transaction is $18 million. Located at 32 Neponset St. and 16 Bailey Ct., about 20 miles south of Boston,

Somerville, MA DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners (DLJ RECP), Deutsche Finance Group (DFG), Leggat McCall Properties (LMP), and Shawmut Design and Construction were joined by mayor Katjana Ballantyne to commemorate the steel topping off milestone at 808 Windsor St., the second purpose-built class A lab building as part of the Boynton Yards 1.8 million s/f mixed-use life sciences and innovation community.

Malden, MA Boston Realty Advisors represented Historic Tours of America in the purchase of 129 Commercial St., a 53,872 s/f commercial building for $21 million.  The seller was a joint venture partnership of Oliver Street Capital and partner Bain Capital. The sale closed on February 15th.
