2016 was another extremely successful year of growth at Quonset Business Park.  Rhode Islanders overwhelmingly approved Question 5 on the ballot to invest in the success of the Port of Davisville with a $50 million bond to support the General Assembly and governor Gina Raimondo’s $90 million modernization plan for Pier 2 at the Port.  We announced the approval of a 50 year lease with Finlays for a two-phase 93,000 s/f research and manufacturing facility at the park.

Finlays is a global leader in tea and coffee extracts, and in 2014 the company purchased Autocrat LLC of Lincoln, an iconic Rhode Island company. We saw the opening of the new J. Goodison Shipyard, which has invested more than $9 million to expand its operations at the Park. There are also several construction projects underway, including: Toray Plastics’ expansion, Gateway Offices phase 3, West Davisville Industrial Condos phase 2, Bella Energy Solar, and R.I. Air National Guard Flight Simulator, just to name a few.
