Boston, MA The Davis Companies has hired Rickie Golden as vice president of development. In this position, Golden will focus on permitting efforts for several Boston development projects.

Golden, who has over 10 years of experience in pre-development work, permitting, zoning and development, had previously been the president of JECSP, a spin-off company of Corcoran Jennison Cos., where she created/sourced three potential off-market, complex, large-scale projects in Boston, totaling $3 billion and 230 acres. Prior to Corcoran, Golden worked for Continental Ventures Realty in New York and for The Museum of Modern Art in New York.

“Rickie’s experience in a diverse range of asset types, as well as in master planning, strategic concepts, negotiations and pre-development work makes her a perfect fit for The Davis Companies as we continue to grow our development portfolio,” said Brian Fallon, president of The Davis Cos. development group. “We are pleased to welcome Rickie to our development team.”

At The Davis Cos., Golden will be working with Fallon on the planning and permitting of 1515 Commonwealth Ave. and the Skating Club site in Allston, among other assignments.

Golden holds a Master in Design Studies, Real Estate Development from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts in the History of Art from the University of Pennsylvania.

“I am thrilled to join the development team at The Davis Companies, which has earned a reputation not only for integrity, creativity and excellence, but also for developing and managing marquee real estate projects across the northeast in the United States,” said Golden.

Golden is a member of the Alumni Council of the Graduate School of Design at Harvard, a member of the Board of Trustees for the Boston Society of Architects (BSA) Foundation and the vice-chair of the Urban Land Institute Responsible Property Investment Council.
