What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? The project(s) that always stand out are ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys. They are usually large-scale sites and can get very involved.
What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? My team and I completed an 80-foot-deep support of excavation system in Portland, ME, last summer. I was the project manager and design lead.
Starting out in the construction business, who or what empowered you? At the start of my career, I worked as an office manager for a general contractor. The longer I was there, the more I realized ultimately that I wanted to become a project manager.

When you’re not busy, what is your go to book or podcast to help you unwind? The perfect place for me to unwind is at the golf course. From collegiate tournaments to networking events, golf has given me the opportunity to increase creativity and my ability to solve problems.

Starting out in the construction business, who or what empowered you? Whether it’s the notes of appreciations from clients, repeat business offers, or the friendships built along the way – the satisfaction of a job well received is very rewarding. This is what makes me take on new challenges within this industry.
What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? My most recent project is always my favorite project. I am currently managing my largest public education project, the Torrington Middle School and High School.
Starting out in the construction business, who or what empowered you? I really have to highlight our CEO Jay Calnan. Following a big industry event one day, I jokingly mentioned the experience was akin to “wading through a sea of blue suits and silver hair.”
