What led you to your current profession? I love art and working in many types of media. Creating something that is meant to be experienced is energizing. Also, my dad worked as an architect until he retired.
What led you to your current profession? Back in the mid ‘90’s, I worked at a company that sold music technology to musicians, recording engineers and record producers over the phone.
Which project, deal, or transaction was the “game-changer” in the advancement of your career? The Peabody Portfolio consisted of 149-units over 11 assets in downtown Peabody, MA.
Who or what inspires you? My previous projects inspire me greatly. Each project presented a unique set of challenges that our team overcame with creative solutions. I think back on these accomplishments
How have your life experiences impacted who you are professionally? I served in the US Army so I think that a lot of experiences from that time carried over into my civilian career. During my time in service
What led you to your current position? I developed an interest in geotechnical engineering in college and after graduating I began my career at a large consulting firm. The work was challenging and personally rewarding
Which project, deal, or transaction was the “game-changer” in the advancement of your career? My firm was commissioned for one of the largest student housing developments in Florida. The scope included more than 4 million s/f of construction to be built during a two-year construction
How do you contribute to your community or your profession? I am a member of Wentworth Institute of Technology’s CEPAC committee (civil engineering professional advisory committee) and also a part of the ASCE Design of Wood Structures Committee.
Who or what inspires you? Many strong and beautiful women inspire me, but I am most inspired by my aunt, Jackie Werner. She has taught me that there is always room for self-growth and education. As a musician, producer and transformative coach
