Starting out in the construction business, who or what empowered you? Construction has a lot to offer in terms of career growth and opportunity, but I knew being the only woman in the room meant I had to know my stuff.
What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? I prefer to celebrate the achievements of the entire MRG team. We’ve found some great new clients and made projects like Rosetti in Beverly
Why should women consider a career in construction? There are a number of reasons why women should consider a career in construction. First and foremost, job opportunities. The construction industry is one of the few sectors where demand for new workers
Starting out in the construction business, who or what empowered you? One of my first jobs out of school, my employer always strived to push me outside of my comfort zone.
What was your greatest achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? My greatest achievement in the last year was that I was able to stay 100% billable with two projects. Frequency Therapeutics that was in the planning stages
Why should women consider a career in construction? Over the last decade I have seen the construction industry evolve for the better. Gone are the days of the “good ‘ol boys club” that felt impossible to break into.
What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? The most notable project in the last twelve months was the completion of a new four-story 221,000 s/f life sciences building.
Starting out in the construction business, who or what empowered you? My parents. My mom was a construction project manager when I was younger, so she was my role model. She and my dad have always pushed me to do better
