What led you to your current profession? I had bounced around in a couple of different roles before heading back to graduate school. During this time, I started looking at industries and spent many hours interviewing alumni.
What led you to your current profession? When I was about 4 or 5 years old, my family frequently visited a historic reenactment village, where people dressed in costume. There was something incredibly powerful in the preservation of that environment.
Which project, deal, or transaction was the “game-changer” in the advancement of your career? As an advertising agency for small to mid size companies, taking on a Commercial Construction company was a game changer.
How do you contribute to your community or your profession? I enjoy volunteering as the Girls Ice Hockey Director for our community’s town hockey program and coaching my daughter’s hockey teams.
What led you to your current profession? From an early age, I had an interest in the functional aspects of architectural design, using critical thinking to solve problems. I was fortunate enough to receive computer-aided design training
What advice can you offer to someone who is interested in a career in your industry? Although good design is essential, developing good relationships with clients for whom you are designing is the key to your future career in the industry.
How do you contribute to your community or your profession? I sit on the board for a non-profit in my home town that is actively planning and fundraising for a museum and aquarium facility adjacent to the Cocheco River in Dover, NH.
