What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2018? - by Wayne Jalbert

Our greatest accomplishment was strategic growth. Acquisition of two companies and establishing an additional office represent the culmination of thoughtful, engaging collaboration between like-minded professionals. The acquisition of Noonan & McDowell, Billerica and H.W. Moore Associates, Boston added locations and employees that serve diversification, strengthen client reach and ensure ample resources to meet needs of existing and future clients. It also helps our employees’ needs having office locations throughout Mass. Establishing a Newburyport office provides similar benefits. The area has ongoing development and faces difficult coastal environmental issues. Our diverse team can handle those challenges. Strategic growth has exceeded expectations which is a testament to our people.

2018 was a fantastic year for Brennan Consulting.  We are one of Boston’s newest WBE firms and 2018 marked our largest growth year, in both market sectors and client base, to now include many of the region’s top performers and high profile projects. Innovations in historic adaptive reuse and in new skyscraper, casino and hotel construction methods also expanded our portfolio.  According to the NWBC, there are now 12 million women business owners and our numbers are growing. We are excited to ride this wave and provide creative solutions for the Boston real estate community well into 2019.

As a client focused company, our first concern is with how well we are serving our clients versus any internal business metric or industry accolade.  With this in mind, I would say I am most proud of the hard work, skill and creativity displayed every day by our project delivery teams out in the field. 2018 saw the largest number of active projects to date in Delphi’s 26-year history.  I have been proud of our team’s continuous efforts to put our clients’ needs first at every turn and by their relentless pursuit of what we call “A+ Project Delivery.”

I have been fortunate enough to represent numerous successful restaurants and bars in the Boston area. In 2018, I had the privilege of representing Giacomo’s Ristorante in their quest to open a new location beyond the North and South Ends. In July, the recently closed Bertucci’s space in Wayland was selected. The client wanted to open within five months. Our firm handled

Industrial market - by William Pastuszek

Boston’s industrial market, while small compared to other industrial markets in other parts of the country, is judged to be healthy. While nowhere near as exciting as multi-family, office, and/or retail, its trends and direction, give an important measure of the New England economy. So it flies somewhat beneath the radar of many market participants.
