What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? My client sold $15 million worth of apartment buildings in Connecticut and was seeking replacement properties. He needed to make a large 1031 purchase after the sale of an apartment building and was nearing the end of identification period.
When I am not working, I am: I’m doing one of two things. I’m watching everything and anything that has to do with the Boston Celtics and when it’s football season, the New England Patriots. Second, I’m planning my next vacation to an island paradise.
What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? The current project I’m supervising is the biggest job I’ve run in terms of square footage and scope. It’s certainly had unique challenges that have kept me sharp, and I think those are the types of jobs we learn the most from and create the strongest relationships with our partners and clients.
What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? BIDMC East Campus Power Separation project. AKF has been working for several years on this multi-staged project to upgrade the entire electrical infrastructure of an existing active in-patient healthcare building.
One thing on my bucket list: It’s a goal of mine to check out every UNESCO World Heritage Site across the world. So far, I’ve seen Pompeii, Rome, Venice, University of Coimbra in Portugal, Pico Azores, and Ireland – but there are so many more I would like to visit.
What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? We look to partner with our borrowers to achieve what is best for their strategy. In a recent deal, our sponsor acquired an industrial property in Braintree, Mass. which was receiving interest from the market, but they couldn’t quite find the right tenant
What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? As a leader, I find fulfillment in creating an environment for employees to grow and flourish, achieved by securing profitable contracts for a stable and long-term workplace. Our goal is to ensure our team feels secure, happy and cared for, with growth opportunities.
When I am not working, I am: Recently, I’ve bought and began refinishing my house, which has been a significant undertaking. It has been an incredibly rewarding experience that has allowed me to transform the space. From basic repairs to long hours spent painting, each step has been a learning process.
What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? 2022 was a banner year for True Storage, with acquisitions being no exception. I am proud to have completed 15 transactions last year for development sites across the country, which will deliver over 1 million s/f of storage once construction is complete. Of those 15 sites, 12 required rezoning or entitlement work, which was no small feat.
What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? A prospective borrower recently reached out to Washington Trust’s Commercial Real Estate team for construction financing for a new luxury residential subdivision in Rhode Island. Due to strong demand and a large number of presold units, the prospect’s former lender was unable to provide financing.
