What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? RIW recently represented a client applying for local approvals to construct a 150kw ground mounted solar array. Initially, I assisted with researching and drafting letters to the planning board arguing the applicability of M.G.L. Ch. 40A, Section 3, and related precedent from recent decisions of the Supreme Judicial Court and the Land Court and preparing an application to the zoning board of appeals.

strong>What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? Our work on the radiation oncology department at Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Winchester Hospital. In addition to replacing the linear accelerator and its accompanying equipment, we incorporated new custom millwork and finishes.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? Just one year ago, I joined Winchester Savings Bank with the opportunity to take a strong commercial lending program to new and amazing heights. Our team responded to the challenge so well that we achieved record asset growth in 2022 while maintaining the exceptional level of service the bank is known for.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? I recently helped a client complete his 1031 exchange with the acquisition of a CVS in the Mid-Atlantic and a two-tenant retail center in the Southeast, both in A+ areas.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? My project team and I recently completed the design and permitting for a new speculative Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) industrial building. Throughout the design process, we coordinated extensively with the developer to understand their need for a flexible design that could accommodate multiple tenants

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? Morton Station Village is a four-story building with 40 units of mixed-income housing in Mattapan, Mass., and spans 34,000 s/f. It’s the first project I managed as a project manager, and it allowed me to take on greater responsibility.

The MIT Volpe Exchange South Parcel is a complex eight-acre mixed-use phased redevelopment of a superblock in Cambridge’s Kendall Sq. The project will add approximately 2.4 million s/f, consisting of below-grade parking, three residential towers

2023 Ones to Watch Rising Stars: Adam Byrd, Callahan Construction Managers

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? We were working on a multifamily development in Lynn, Mass. called Breakwater when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. We faced significant issues with manpower and material procurement due to supply chain issues. I am proud to say that we finished the project on time despite these challenges.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? Most recently I’ve been working towards creating a more respectful culture and environment for our trade partners in construction. I believe that respect in the construction industry at times gets lost due to fast-paced schedules and various restrictions enforced by the end goal.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? I’m most proud of our work at The Landing at Everett Mills located at 15 Union St. in Lawrence, Mass. We are investing significant capital to create a transformational mixed-use campus at the heart of downtown, supporting economic development and invigorating the community.
