What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? By far, the project I am most proud of is when I project managed the construction of a 321km High Voltage Power Line in Northern Alberta, Canada in 2007/08. We were working on First Nation Land, which was both a privilege and a source of complexity,

What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? The project I am most proud of is the Joyce Cummings Center at Tufts University. This project holds many awards for PROCON, including our first ever National Excellence in Construction award.

What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? The project I’m most proud of is the one that I’m currently on – the Easterseals NH Military & Veteran Campus.

What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? My best achievement is, by far, creating the Interior Design department here at PROCON. When I was hired, PROCON was using outside ID firms. I made it my goal to create the department myself.

What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? The Artisan Hotel in Tuscan Village, my first project after graduating from college, has without a doubt been the most impactful of my career thus far.

Who or what has inspired you most in your career, and what advice would you share with the next generation of women entering the A/E/C industry? Without a doubt, Jay Calnan has been the most inspiring figure in my career.

What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? My biggest career achievement is becoming a licensed soil evaluator in Rhode Island and Massachusetts — all while raising my four kids. When I was hired, I didn’t even know soil evaluation was a profession!

What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? A current project that I am working on, International Place in Boston, is one that I feel will impact the community.

What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? I am especially proud of my role, as owner’s representative, in the development of RIPTA’s first electric bus charging station and driver rest stop. RIPTA provides public transportation to 40,000+ commuters daily.

What trends or innovations do you believe will shape the future of your field, and how are you positioning yourself (or your firm) to be at the forefront? Recognizing that resiliency – whether in building design or site development – is critical in shaping the future of land development.

What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? One project I’m proud of is the ROPOS Crane Barge for the Department of Commerce under NOAA.
