Shortages of industrial inventory - lack of construction will cause rents & prices to rise. Retail will push for more entertainment in the shopping experience to lure consumers back.
Looking back at 2025, what deal, project, or key moment best reflected the direction of the New England CRE market this year? With return-to-work initiatives continuing, I was thrilled to support Clarion Partners with repositioning its office/lab building at 245 First St.

Construction began this year to support or expand manufacturing by three individual Quonset tenants.

The key moment for 2025 was the Trump 2.0 administration, particularly in contrast to the economic approach of the Harris administration, was by far the most impactful event of 2025.

Looking back, 2025 was defined by the roller-coaster of interest rate changes. This created market uncertainty, leaving many organizations questioning the right time to take on their next project. And this is where long-term relationships can make all the difference.

In this year of uncertainty, with lots of larger projects put on hold, we’ve worked diligently to improve everything within our control. We’ve invested in new software, expanded our sales team, reorganized our labor, and changed insurance carriers.

We made meaningful investments in technology, including AI tools that automate routine tasks more efficiently, allowing our lawyers to focus on higher-value work and creative problem solving.

What accomplishment or milestone stood out for you or your firm in 2025? In 2025, our firm was able to develop relationships with a few clients that were not just doing business locally, but also throughout the United States. We were able to branch out and provide assistance through our network that allowed a much wider range of deals for us to work on.
