What does it take to succeed in your specific industry? We’re doing a lot of construction here and currently have about $150 million in capital projects in the queue or underway. Given this, effective communication is key, as is being a team player and being attuned
What led you to your current profession? I’ve been in energy efficiency for over 15 years. Using my mechanical engineering background to help reduce building energy use, cost, and emissions has been very rewarding.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? Expanding ARCO National New England from two employees in 2018 to 22 in 2022 while growing the business from $10 million in revenue to $300 million in revenue – and having a ton of fun while doing it.
What does it take to succeed in your specific industry? Empathy, communication skills and tough-mindedness. Empathy and communication are most important when it comes to building relationships, which is what this business is all about.
What does it take to succeed in your specific industry? I would say the most important skill to have in the construction industry is people skills. In project management we need to be able to make a connection between clients and subcontractors daily
What does it take to succeed in your specific industry? It takes a lot of planning, attention to detail, and being able to relate and collaborate with all stakeholders. The ability to have open communication and to be flexible is also critical. Having an open mind and being able to think outside the box helps to succeed in this industry.
What does it take to succeed in your specific industry? Show up, work, continuously follow up with clients and customers, and meet as many people as you can everyday. Be relentless.
